I managed to make it out before sunrise this morning. Well before. Shooting some city shots under the lights is how I started my morning in Belleville, ON. What I didn’t know, the sun was coming, and the light was going to trump everything I had done earlier this morning. So when I spotted some pinks in the sky downtown Belleville, it was time to get down to the pier to see what the sunrise had to offer.
The light was gorgeous when I got to the water, but it lasted only a few minutes. The sky was moody, and the highlights’ tones matched perfectly with the moody blues. I tried a few compositions and picked a couple of favourites from Belleville.
When I got back to Quinte West, the marvellous light continued. I put on the 100-400 G Master telephoto and took some shots along the Bay of Quinte on HWY 33. Below is a gallery from this morning. I hope you enjoy it!
Next up is Santa Claus Parade this evening in Trenton, Ontario.
